Learning Objectives: 1. Examine global policies, methods, and delivery for health care around the world that impact nursing and health care. 2. Discuss special issues that affect global health care with emphasis on the role of the nurse. 3. Utilize informatics for current lifespan issues that affect global health nursing. 4. Examine issues and trends that affect health care within specific countries on health promotion and prevention. 5. Compare and contrast the concepts of vulnerability and resilience from the standpoint of cultural factors that affect health status and health care with diverse populations. 6. Identify ways in which nurse can help people or groups to be less vulnerable in various geographical regions. 7. Analyze the components of successful programs that serve vulnerable populations utilizing best practices. 8.
