Learning Objectives: 1. Understand and use terminology related to data science. 2. Differentiate between raw and clean data. 3. Discuss the sources of data and how the available raw data can be converted into useful data sets. 4. Demonstrate skills in using appropriate (open) software systems for data analysis. 5. Select and apply appropriate summary measures. 6. Understand when casual inference, predictive modeling, and clustering/classification are appropriate. 7.
