NUR 6344 - Practicum in Nursing Education

This course provides guided precepted experiences with the opportunity to analyze and implement the role and function of the nurse educator in the academic and clinical settings. Students will utilize best practices to develop and implement teaching modules, tests, and measurements that address evolving health issues as well as assessing and evaluating learner achievements. Students will apply evidence based teaching and learning evaluation strategies in classroom, clinical and simulated settings. (106 Practicum Hours)

Pre-requisites: NUR 6328, NUR 6338, NUR 6340, NUR 6348
Co-requisites: NUR 6305
