ENG 1305 - Thinking and Writing Critically about Literature
This course focuses upon the application of rhetorical and linguistic principles to the critical examiniation of various works of literature. Students will develop proficiency in reading literary works and use critical analysis skills to discuss, evaluate, and write about these works of art, their style and the context in which they were written. Works from various literary genres, will be utilized in a substantial number of writing assignments focused on both honing writing skills and the critical analysis of the literature presented.
