The internship requires the application and integration of professionalism and healthcare management knowledge and skills at an agreed upon and assigned health care facility or healthcare related institution, agency or company. The Healthcare Management Internship course offers students an in-depth opportunity to integrate the knowledge and skills acquired in all courses to real work-related situations. Integration of liberal arts education, basic business and economic knowledge and skills, and healthcare management concepts and technical skills are addressed.
