This African History course is the first of a two-course survery. History of Africa until 1808 surveys the history of the continent from the earliest human inhabitants untilthe abolition of the Transatlantic Slave Trade in1808. This couse is not a pre-requisite for its sequel History of Africa since 1808. Pre-requisites: Any World Civilization Course
