MIS 3340 - Business Information Systems Analysis, Design, and Development |
This course introduces students to all facets of the systems development life cycle, namely planning, analysis, design, development, and maintenance. The systems analysis portion describes methods for defining what organzational processes exist, what future processes are required, and the transformation necessary to build these future processes. The systems design portion describes methods used to define how to select components and build systems. The development portion of the course introduces structured techniques, object-oriented programming and other methods for building business information systems.
