MUS 3211 - Music Activities/Elem School |
This course is directed toward the development of personal musical skills and
understanding and the sharing of these with children at elementary levels of public
schools. Topics include the rationale of music in the classroom, the effective use of
music materials and equipment, building a repertoire of activities appropriate to
children at various stages of development and learning ability, and effective methods of presentation. (Three periods per week.)
