This course is an introduction to the biological foundations of behavior and mental processes. Brain activity and physiological mechanisms are examined in relationship to psychological processses such as learning and memory, perception, stress and emotion, and states of consciousness, as well as hormonal and evolutionary perspectives on behavior.
