This is a course in developmental reading for secondary students. Lectures and
demonstrations include assessment of reading needs, a review of word recognition
skills, comprehension and selection of materials. Emphasis is placed on reading
activities for the content areas.
Prerequisite: Admission to Teacher Education Program. Grade: C or better.
